October 14, 2019 – Global Philanthropic Canada has appointed two new regional Vice Presidents. Both appointments are effective January 1, 2020.

Senior Consultant Danielle Boucher has been appointed to the new position of Vice President, Atlantic, based in Moncton, New Brunswick. Since joining Global in September 2017, Danielle has made an indelible mark on the Atlantic fundraising landscape, working with major clients across the region, supporting AFP chapters in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and driving the Maritime Fundraising Conference. Danielle honed her fundraising skills in Montreal before returning to her native Moncton to share her knowledge and develop her profession. Her areas of focus span healthcare, higher education, arts and culture and social services with particular expertise in major gift fundraising, strategic planning and Board development. Danielle holds a Master of Arts degree in Curatorial Studies (Museology) from the University of Montreal. She currently leads a team of three in the Atlantic region.
Senior Consultant R.A. (Bob) Baker has been appointed Interim Vice President, Ontario, based in Toronto. Bob joined Global in October 2018 with more than 30 years of experience in the public sector. He is an experienced CEO and senior executive, working at national charities, healthcare and higher education. As a not-for-profit executive, Bob has extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing integrated strategies, building brand and reputation, generating revenue streams and moving decisions forward. His particular area of expertise is strategic planning, governance best practices and developing integrated revenue generating plans. Bob holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
Bob succeeds Ontario Vice President Ibrahim Inayatali, who is moving to Washington, DC to accept a part-time temporary leadership appointment at an international development agency. Ibrahim will continue to serve his Global clients as a Senior Consultant.
